Students Eating On A Budget: Egg Fried Noodles

One of my favorite and quick dishes to make is Egg Fried Noodles. They are cheap and quick to make. And besides who would want to eat plain boring noodles.

  • Noodles
  • 1 or 2 Eggs
  • 1 Carrot
  • 1 Green/Red/Yellow Pepper
  • Bacon/Macon Strips
  • Light Soy Sauce

Method of Cooking:

In a pot of boiling water add a packet of noodles and the flavour and boil until noodles have separated. Strain the noodles and set them aside. Fry the bacon/macon strips and set aside. Slice the carrot and the green/red/yellow  pepper and put them in a frying pan and stir fry them for 2 min.

Beat 2 eggs and add them to the frying pan slowly as you keep mixing in order to keep the egg cutting into small chunks.  Add the bacon/macon, vegetables and the noodles to the frying pan. Add some soy sauce and keep mixing until satisfied. Serve on a plate, grab your chopsticks and eat away!
Ps. The bacon or macon is purely optional. Feel free to switch up the vegetables to make the noodles more intresting.
